Curriculum

The Ipswich West State School – Whole school curriculum framework ensures that:

  • Students are provided with the required curriculum
  • High expectations for student learning are held
  • Student learning is regularly checked to ensure they are making good progress, are achieving year level expectations and are extended as needed
  • Teachers effectively respond to students’ current levels of achievement and differing rates of learning
  • Students are prepared to continue their schooling with the foundation for successful lifelong learning and participation in the community

Teachers use the Department of Education Curriculum into the Classroom (C2C) units to plan, teach and assess students in the Australian Curriculum learning areas.
